erxes provides 3 different packages for our clients, which include:

  1. A self-hosted version that is suitable for SaaS providers or enterprises operating in highly regulated industries, like insurance, mobile network providers, banking and etc. As it is self-hosted, you must ensure you and your organization have a skilled DevOps person/team to look after the server to maintain the smooth operation of your erxes operating system daily. As an erxes user, you can choose between using the Community Edition, which is entirely free, or paid plan of the Enterprise Edition.

  2. SaaS version that is suitable for small to medium enterprises who want to leave all your tech-related work to us and only focus on your main operation that is non-technical. Pricing is super simple in that you can get access to erxes for free and use it as long as you want as an individual. Then as your business grows, you can only pay for what you need, rather than having a bunch of junk that comes within the package.

  3. An infrastructure version is for is the best choice for starting a platform business. You can white-label the design or change every line of code to make it work for you, and this is where you can leverage erxes core plugins, components, and enterprise features to power your entire platform business that includes some of the very specific, high-level paid plugins.

XOS: It contains the project's core. You can find the admin panel and the code that runs different plugins. Marketplace

Your next step would be going to erxes the Marketplace to choose the plugins of your choice.

erxes Marketplace is where you can learn about all of the plugins erxes provides and how they can help you to create your unique experience.

Plugins are the features that can work independently to fulfill the particular purpose of enterprises/developers, such as sales pipeline, delivery, etc. We have 30+ plugins available on our marketplace right now, and more plugins will be added daily.

The plugins are divided into the following categories:

  • Plugins the features that can work independently to fulfill a particular purpose.
  • Add-ons are the sub-features/integrations that can work with plugins to enhance their experience.
  • Services include all services related to creating your unique experiences with erxes.
  • Power-up is the boost to power up plugins. The most of the power-ups applied for SaaS clients as we set the certian use limits for some of the plugins require extra data regarding its usage.

Each plugin available at Marketplace has;

  • dependent plugins, which can not work without them,
  • additional plugins that can work to bring out better experiences.

This will allow you to create your unique experiences using the plugins you need. With this informaiton, lists of the plugins work together to fullfil the certion needs as well as additional plugins to create even better experiences. You will see many use cases of each plugin that can help you learn what you can do with a combination of different plugins here.

When you get access to the Marketplace from organizations in different versions, there will be the slight difference regarding the actions can be taken by you, which are:

  • Self-hosted version You can install the plugins straight from each plugin.
  • SaaS version You'll have new category on the Marketplace called "power-up", which apply for the amount of uses for each plugins. On SaaS version, we provide limits on uses of each plugin purely related to the server pricing and capacity.
